The short version

Both are cloud phone systems that sell dialers for outbound teams, and both keep the dialer out of the base price. CloudTalk is priced in euros from €19 per user per month and lists IVR, routing, queues and call recording on every plan. CallHippo has a free Basic plan and paid plans from about $18 per user per month, but call recording, IVR and fuller routing start on its Professional plan.

Where they differ

  • Starting point. CallHippo lists a free plan. CloudTalk starts at €19 per user per month on annual billing.
  • What the cheap plans include. CloudTalk lists IVR, routing and queues, call recording and analytics on all four plans. CallHippo's entry plans are lighter: recording and IVR start on Professional ($30).
  • Dialers. CloudTalk's Power Dialer is €15 per user per month extra below Expert. CallHippo sells its power and predictive dialers as separate products and doesn't show their prices on the main pricing page. Either way, ask for the all-in price before you compare.
  • Integrations. CloudTalk lists 95+ integrations, from the Essential plan. CallHippo lists 50+, with the major CRMs from Professional.
  • Monitoring. CallHippo's listen, whisper and barge sit on separate scaled plans. CloudTalk lists live monitoring without detail.

Which to shortlist

Shortlist CloudTalk if you want recording, IVR and routing on every plan, numbers in many countries and deep CRM integration, and you are happy to price the dialer as an add-on.

Shortlist CallHippo if you want a free starting plan and plan to add outbound dialing later, and you are prepared to ask sales for the dialer price.
